Eurofer- deficit di ferro
Iron deficiency is the most common form of nutritional deficiency. Iron is very important to human life; it plays a central role in the hemoglobin of red blood cells, where it is involved in the transport of oxygen from the lungs to the tissues and carbon dioxide from the tissues to the lungs. Lack of iron can cause anemia, menorrhagia, learning disabilities, impaired immune function, and decreased energy.
Increased iron requirements occur during growth spikes in childhood and adolescence and during pregnancy and lactation.
Currently, the vast majority of pregnant women take regular iron supplements because the significant increase in the need for this mineral cannot be met simply by diet.
The population group at greatest risk from dietary iron deficiency, however, is the elderly and is often due to insufficient hydrochloric acid secretion in the stomach, a condition that is quite common in old age and causes decreased iron absorption. Other causes of decreased absorption include: chronic diarrhea, surgical removal of the stomach, and the use of antacids.
EUROFER was developed according to physiological needs to compensate for the deficiencies outlined above. The product is a complex of pro-food biocomplements that can promote iron requirements and thus lead to rapid improvement in iron-deficient individuals. It can be taken by developing children, pregnant and lactating women, the elderly, and those suffering from bleeding hemorrhoids.
Eurofer – natural biocomponents
